A free choice blog. Haven't had one of these in a while. I cant really think of what to write so im going to just start writing. Hey, have you ever read the book Ready Player One? If you have tell me what you think in the comments below, NO SPOILERS! The book to me is really good and I think its going to end up being one of the best books I ever read, (I don't read much but its still really good). But i do like talking about sports like basketball, the only sport that interests me a lot. I have a lot of basketball things over the summer that include camps and the city high summer league which plays every Monday night. I would love to talk more but it seems like ill just keep ranting on so Im going to stop. Oh yeah and have you ever seen the movie...

The main plot of my story is that the world is in terrible state and most of the people living there play in a virtual world called the OASIS. It has everything like the normal world and has many other video games inside it as well. The creator of the game dies and leaves a his estate and fortune of over 240 billion dollars to whoever is able to find and collect 3 different keys he had hidden throughout the game.
The idea or a virtually real world sounds very cool and the plot is very entertaining. The way that the author explains everything is really cool and being an avid video game player myself, this virtual reality simulator sounds awesome. I would even enjoy being a "Gunter" or a person that looks for the keys. I think the rest of the book will be just as good if not better than the begging and I'm looking forward to reading it. If I were able to be friends with 2 celebrities I think I would choose to be friends with Bill gates son because if they were to go somewhere exotic I could ask to go and most likely they would allow me to go. I could also ask for a small amount of money and would probably get it because its not like they have a shortage of money. Also the birthday presents! Don´t even get me started about those.
Another celeb that I would love to become friends with would be Kevin Hart just because he is absolutely hilarious. He is my favorite stand up comedian and the TV show that he has the role of main character in is one of the funniest TV shows I've ever watched. If you wanted to know the TV show is called it is "Real Husbands of Hollywood," its a little bit inappropriate so don't let really young kids watch it. n3. My thoughts and understandings of the holocaust have stayed the same as they were for the majority of things but I do realize now that most German citizens did not know the truth about what happened to the Jews. I also used to think that surviving in the concentration camps was an impossible task and that barely anyone survived more than a week, obviously I know now that compared to what I used to think it was a lot easier, still difficult but easier. I also know now how hard it must have been to be split from your family at such a young age for some of the kids. Reading Night, watching the boy in striped pajamas and doing the research project on the holocaust has showed me how sad life was as a Jew during the holocaust.
4. In my honest opinion I think that the book was better for a few reasons. One of the main reasons was the abundance of different characters. I also like that the book was a true story written by the person that had the experience. Pg. 78 Words of the Wiser
Elie is in the infirmary with an injured foot and a man lying next to him tells him to get out of the infirmary before the next selection process or he will be killed. The life lesson is that Elie should keep on the move so they never think he is to weak to continue. It might also have affected the way he strives to escape. Pg. 100 memory moment Elie watched two children fight over money that was thrown in the water and he kindly asked the lady who was throwing the coins to stop, she replied, "Why not? I like to give to charity..." It seems like a memory you would never forget because you kindly ask someone to stop doing something that is hurting some children and they refuse with a kind of cocky reply. Pg. 106 Contrasts and contradictions Elie saw that his dad was very sick and weak and he thought to himself that maybe he should just leave his dad, and not care for him, which would leave Elie with more strength than before. The reason he might have thought of this awful thing was because he was starting to get desperate and he was starting to become weaker as well and without the weight of his dad he could keep that strength for himself. O-Of L-Life T-The O-Or U-United W-When S-States E-Eventually R-Ruled out If I were the POTUS than I would have a lot of responsibility that I would not like to have but if I had to be the Pres. I would start by prioritizing the disabled. I would make it so that we have more ramps for people in wheelchairs and that veterans get the respect they deserve. To do this I would try to make laws that would force people to have respect for all and I would also enforce some of the laws we already have. Then I would try and fix our relationship with other countries. I'm not sure how I would fix this problem but I would try. After that I would be a kind president that everyone can trust. One that would be your friend if you got to know me, but I would also be strict and make sure you followed the laws. That's what I would do if I were the POTUS FLOWER (AHA! Puns) what would you do? Would you try to do more political things than me, our would you do things like mine? Leave your answers and feedback in the comments below. Over winter break I did a lot of different things. I sadly never left the state but I did have an amazing time. The first thing we did as a family was go to the movie Sing. It was an OK movie that my younger siblings seemed to really enjoy. A day or two after that we went to a Christmas Party at my moms friends house. I got to meet a lot of new people and saw some that I hadn't seen since the year before. When that was over we went home and slept.
In the morning we got ready because it was Christmas Eve and we had our own party to go to. We arrived and went inside to find our entire family gossiping and eating dinner. I went into the basement and played board games with my cousins. A little bit later we opened presents and went to mid-night mas (More like 10 o'clock mas). I got up the next morning and opened my presents from Santa, I got a new I-phone 7! The rest of break was pretty laid back with a few basketball practices here and there but the most fun thing I did all break was going to a new years party at my friends house. That pretty sums up everything interesting I did over break. If you saw something in here that your family might do annually as well let me know in the comments which one it was and what you do. Thanks for reading my blog! The article is about a person, a woman I think, who decides to write a list based on what an 18 year old person should be able to do. She talks a lot about college work and being able to find their way around town. But she also gets into house work and other important things like being able to get a job, or being able to take risks.
I honestly think most of the things on this list are just stupid. Half the things on here are necessary to even get through school let alone live by yourself. The one that bugs me the most is the one about being able to get your home work done on a deadline. In that paragraph she talks about how parents sometimes help or do their childrens homework. I have literally never seen any body ever do their childs homework and helping your child is a good sign because it means they know how to ask for help themselves. If I could be in a video game I think I would choose one with a good plot. There are so many games to choose from like Mario, Call of Duty, GTAV or even old school games like Pac Man. But if we were talking sense than I would go with the obvious choice. Super Mario 64. The reason is because it was the first video game I ever played, its what sparked my love for video games and electronics.
It was also the first game I ever completely beat, and it was one of the hardest. I also thought that the story line was pretty funny. Thats why I would pick Super Mario 64. (Also, I think I'd make a pretty good mario. LET'S 'a GO!) |
